Read moreAt the world’s longest subsea natural gas pipeline an upgrade of the pipeline’s valve system was realized. With this project Nord Stream wanted to reduce the maintenance effort, extend the life cycle and ensure reliable sealing on this important route between Wyborg (Russia) and Lubmin (Germany). The new system consisting of Fahlke actuators, control unit and Hartmann ball valves could fulfill the high requirements regarding safety, temperature, pressure and corrosion standards and deliver a lifetime of many decades.

On the 70th anniversary Hartmann Valves opened its doors for the first time and offered for three days a full program which trade visitors and locals attended largely.
At this year’s “GeoTHERM expo & congress” on 25./26. February in Offenburg (Germany) Hartmann Valves, again, was represented within the joint booth of GeoEnergy Celle. The interest in our experiences made in deep geothermal projects, as well as in our wellheads, ball valves, and our services was great again – no matter whether visitors came from Germany or abroad: One topic of the collateral “International Geothermal Energy Conference IGC” this year was the prospective geothermal market in Turkey.
