In this autumn the Hartmann Team used several opportunities to introduce its quality products in details to trade experts. While at the geothermal energy congresses main focus was turned to expertise around wellheads and service, at the DIAM (German Industrial Valves Fair) high performance valves and innovative pigging concepts took centre stage.

HARTMANN VALVES defies the crisis in the oil and gas industry with large orders received for deep geothermal projects. For the actual big order placed by Stadtwerke München the first wellhead components for the production well were supplied just in time for drilling start-up to Freiham. At a depth of more than 2.300 meters a huge hot water resource has been located which already as from 2016 is scheduled to be deployed for stoking the district Freiham with natural heat.

Hartmann pigging valves provide a space- and cost-saving substitution for expensive pig launching systems. In addition to its classic use as shut-off valve, the pigging ball valve functions as pig launcher or receiver valve. The simple, secure, and fast insertion or removal of pigs take place through an interlock that is integrated on the side of the pigging valve and that is locked and secured through a bayonet system.

For an innovative conversion of the ammonia factory Yara was looking for special shut-off valves for extreme conditions. “Hartmann has the reputation being known as the “Mercedes“ among the valve suppliers. For this important conversion we have made the decision for a high quality solution!” says Werner Döring, Head of Projects and Availability, Yara Brunsbüttel GmbH.

The leading international show for the process industries in June 2015 was an ideal platform to present Hartmann’s high performance valves. The exhibition team at the booth was very satisfied with the promising contacts and discussions. Numerous new and existing customers, international partners, suppliers and editorial journalists were received at the booth.

Hartmann Valves’ ball valves are designed for extreme challenging conditions and allow shifting thresholds. Gas-tight and with entirely metallic sealing between ball and seal ring, the valves resist aggressive media, high pressures and extreme temperatures. The valves „made in Germany“ are exactly designed to the respective customer requirements for their process optimization.

Spring weather, blue sky, and sunshine made the participation of the HARTMANN RUNNING TEAMs in the 33rd open public run “Celler-Wasa-Lauf” to a full success. On March 8th, 2015, the historic city centre of Celle provided a gorgeous scenery for running on the different mileages from 2.5 to 10 km. All in all our team covered a distance of 280 km, a birthday was celebrated, and even a journey of not less than 978 km to join the run was defied.

For the deepest and most efficient geothermal well in Germany project engineer gec-co and operator Geothermische Kraftwerksgesellschaft Traunreut went for the high quality wellheads made by HARTMANN VALVES. During this project they were rewarded with high flexibility, excellent expertise, and comprehensive service.
